| Individually dimmable light circuits are pre-programmed into lighting scenes. Typically
up to 6 light scenes can be selected from the light switch or from a remote control handset.
Create light scenes for entertaining friends, quiet nights relaxing or playing with the children. Each light
scene totally changes the whole mood of a room.
All scenes have a soft start and soft fade setting so switching from one scene to another is a gently process. |
| Create paths of light throughout the property |

Paths of light are created from the front door to the master bedroom using dimmable light values.
In the master bedroom, paths of light are created for each side of the bed to the en-suite, all set at a low
level so as not to wake the other partner or cause light blinding.
Create whole house light scenes from the main entrance, set lights throughout the home as soon as you arrive.

Predictive Light Scenarios increase the functionality of the intelligentHOUSE Lighting
Control System at the same time reducing the number of light switch operations
On a single button or the trigger of a motion sensor, the lighting system will
predict from 4 different light & shading scene scenarios according to outside ambient light levels and time of day.
Example - Reception Room
- Prediction 1 on a bright sunny day - close curtains / blinds to shade out direct sun light, dim up table lamps to fill in light.
- Prediction 2 on a cloudy day - open curtains / blinds, dim up all lights to create bright atmosphere.
- Prediction 3 at twilight - close curtains / blinds, dim light levels for specific applications such as dinning or watching TV etc..
- Prediction 4 at night time - close curtains / blinds, dim light levels for relaxation, or evening TV viewing etc..
- Switching the lights off, puts the room back to the original state.
This module may also adjust solar blinds to reduce solar glare according to the brightness of the sun. This is ideally used in south
facing areas with large windows, conservatories, terrace patios, and security lighting.

| Using light as an effective security measure. |
| The occupancy simulation module uses light as an added security device. The system automatically records the
light events and the use of the automatic curtains over a rolling 7 day period. When the alarm is set, it will
automatically replay the lighting scenes and open and close the curtains to simulate the house being occupied.
Switch off all lights from a bed side light switch in the master bedroom, likewise have the whole house
lights back on from the same switch in case of a panic.
All security and landscape lighting can be activated by lux level motion sensors, or from a bed
side light switch in the master bedroom and other rooms as required. |
| Control from a mobile phone |
| No more coming home to a dark cold empty house. The remote telephone control module allows the home owner
to phone home when the house is un-occupied to set a welcome home scene. This includes setting internal and landscape lighting
and room temperature settings.
Use SMS text messaging commands from your mobile phone to your intelligentHOUSE system,
as well as receiving messages while away from home. |
